Woman is the helpmeet (Gen. 2:20). The term helpmeet means completer. The word also means to assemble, so God made woman to be an assembler. What is that thing she is to assemble? God first made man, Adam. Adam came with all of his parts, but he needed to be assembled or completed. In other words, he needed a helpmeet to make him what he needed to be.
